Introduction

Noticing an increasing number of companies forming alliances with industry partners to create a better impact on sustainable practices, this Sustainable Organization and Industry Group invites scholars to jointly explore how enterprises achieve sustainable partnerships with industries and organizations through talent development and industry exchanges. Among various topics, the Sustainable Organization and Industry Group focuses on sustainable cultivation of talent, formation of friendly and diverse organizations, and evaluation of the benefits of sustainable industry partnerships. This Group comprises several experienced scholars. Professor Yang, Stephen J.H., currently leading the National Central University’s Research and Development Office, is a renowned expert specializing in artificial intelligence and big data and also a recipient of several outstanding research awards from the Ministry of Science and Technology. Associate Professor Cheng, P. C. Roger, currently the Deputy Dean of the School of Management, is a specialist in labour economics and will promote industry-academic collaboration in the capacity of the Executive Director of the Center for Industry Collaboration. With research expertise in organizational behaviour, Assistant Professor Kristine Velasquez Tuliao, as a foreign scholar, will assist the Group to cooperate with sustainability-related organizations in Southeast Asia. With research expertise in strategic human resource management, Associate Professor Wang, Chun-Hsiao recently completed Taiwan’s first survey on ESG practice human resource management. The future development of the Sustainable Organization and Industry Group will focus on sustainability leadership, research cases on sustainable practices of Asian companies, and corporate ESG human resources surveys.
