影響力與預期不同，並從利害關係人角度觀之，差異將是巨大的可能性。如不符預期，甚至是負面的，或無法於指定時間內為永續發展目標做出貢獻的影響力。為評估影響風險，企業和投資者需要考慮多種可能性與後果，包括無助於永續發展和永續發展目標，貢獻速度不盡理想或低於至2030年實現永續發展和永續發展目標所需的速度，或產生意想不到的負面影響。
The likelihood that impact will be different than expected, and that the difference will be material from the perspective of the Stakeholders who experience the impact. For example, impact may be lower than expected or even negative, or lower than required to contribute to the SDGs in the timescale required. To assess impact risks, enterprises and investors need to consider the likelihood and the consequences of not contributing to sustainable development and the SDGs, contributing at a rate that is sub-optimal or lower than required to achieve sustainable development and the SDGs by 2030, or of making unintended negative impacts.
