在沒有與實體接觸或受其影響的情況下，估算本來就會發生的變化程度。同儕實體的表現、行業或地方的基準，以及/或利害關係人的反饋都可以是估算利害關係人本來就可能發生變化程度的反事實例子。
The estimated degree of change that would have happened anyway – without engaging with, or being affected by, the entity. Performance of peer entities, industry or local benchmarks, and/or Stakeholder feedback are examples of counterfactuals that can be used to estimate the degree of change likely to occur anyway for the Stakeholder.
